The Master's Message

I hope this message finds you well! As I find myself still in the oriental chair, let me say it continues to be an honor and privilege to serve you my brethren. We have had a busy month, commencing with our stated meeting, special election and vote on a reso-lution to change our meeting night. We had a great turn out in January, one of the best I have seen. The resolution to change our meeting night did not pass, so our meetings remain on Monday. Past Master Ken Hottinger was elected unani-mously as Master of Alhambra Lodge by the Brethren attending, how-ever Brother Ken will not be able to qualify. Therefore, another Special Election will need to take place at the February Stated Meeting. Please join us again for this important event, and hopefully this time we will get it right. This month our officers begin their practice schedule once again, and we begin degrees and events. Also in January we had our Annual” Kick-Off Breakfast”, with great attendance and a great break-fast, opening up Alhambra Lodge to our community! In February we host the “Sweetheart’s Luncheon”, honoring our ladies and our widows. Please join us in recognizing our ladies and their commitment to us and our brethren. There are more events happening, we have a tentative degree scheduled for February, this one conferred by Maya Lodge in Spanish, definitely a first in Alhambra Lodge’s history!
