The Master's Message

February 2012

It is the beginning of a New Year. With it also come new promises and expectations. The New Year will bring with it new and exciting opportunities and challenges that will help us grow, as men and as masons.

I would like to thank all my brethren who attended our Alhambra Lodge New Year's Eve Potluck event. It was a family event and most importantly it was free to all. The food was delicious, the decorations were great and we all had a grand time, we danced all night. We thank you all for coming.

But because not everything is fun and games, we regret to notify you that Brothers Clint Moore and Laurence Hyatt PM are in the hospital in serious medical condition. Please join us in prayer for their complete recovery. Dear Brothers get well soon and come back home to your families and your Masonic lodge.

Having presided on my first stated meeting as Master of the lodge 1must confess that I was very nervous and uncomfortable, the master's chair gets terribly hot, makes your heart beat fast and your knees shake. And although being the master of Alhambra lodge is a great honor I found out how hard it is to sit in the East With all this responsibility. Now I know what King Solomon felt when he sat at the throne of Israel with the great responsibility to rule our Lords Temple and His people.

I hope my brethren that you and your family will be able to attend the events that Sarah and I have prepared for all of you. Please join us in our Widows Luncheon next month and bring your family.

Let us maintain and practice our Masonic principles Brotherly Love, relief and Truth. Remember if you have any problems or are dissatisfied with any brother, please don't hesitate to talk me or any other officer, we will endeavor to solve any problem immediately. Let us also stop any of the rumors that you might hear, without any real proof or facts about them. Let us maintain the harmony and respect that we owe to each other at alltimes.

Raymond D'Angelo, Master
